Building The Machine: Graphics Card

A special on Newegg led to getting this Nvidia GTX560 for just a tad more than the price of a GTX460, and now here it sits on my table. This go round I went with an Asus setup (motherboard, graphics card), but I am curious to try out MSI in the future. I was intrigued by the MSI graphics cards, the military grade construction (whatever that means), and how the Afterburner software compares to Voltage Tweak from Asus.

Installation is almost as easy as memory installation (the graphics card just pushes into the motherboard), with the exception that you have to line up the back of the card with the appropriate slot in your case, and remove the covers in the spots you need. Simple enough.

Then all that is left is to supply the power; two plugs from the psu in this case, right into the corner of the card, as seen to the left.
