Yesterday I got home after work to find a box on my porch! I love finding boxes on my porch. This morning I cleared the kitchen table, laid my computer tower down on the table, unboxed my new motherboard, and grabbed a screwdriver. The motherboard installation in this case, and most cases nowadays I imagine, is very straightforward.

As you can see to the left, the case has a large, open area with the holes pre-drilled in all the right spots to simply lay the motherboard down, match up the right holes, and screw it down. Screws are included with the case, so all you need is a screwdriver and well grounded hands (so you don't zap the board with static discharge).
Here is my Asus P67 motherboard screwed down, and in the next picture, all hooked up.
I'm finding that cable management is not the easiest, but I'm going to try to clean it up as best I can.
Also, as you can see, I still need a processor, and video card.
As far as the memory, at this time you can pick up a decent package of 4 gigs (2x2) for about 25 bucks. It was a toss-up between Corsair and Gskill for me, but I went with the Gskill Ripjaw X series. Installation is as simple as it gets, they just push into the slots.
