Building The Machine: Hard Drive and Disk Drive

To install the disk drive, you just pop one of the covers out from the inside of the case.

Then you slide the disk drive in all the way, and use the sliders on the case to lock it in.

The hard drive is similar, but most cases give you a coupe brackets to put on the hard drive first. The hard drive has little holes on each side for those brackets to clip in, then you just slide the whole thing into the appropriate bay in your case, and its clicks into place.
As you can see in the pictures, there are many spots available for multiple drives, so just take your pick when putting them in.

Lastly, hook up the two cables (the wider ones are power and come with the power supply, and go from the power supply to the drives, the smaller (white) ones are data and come with the motherboard, and go from the motherboard to the individual drives). I believe these cables are called SATA cables, and are the standard on most newer hard drives and disk drives.
